Only the organization owner can remove a team or a whole organization. A removed team can't be brought back, but the owner can restore a removed organization. Either way, projects and agents go back to the people who created them, and the team wallet's balance isn't moved, so move it out first.
How to remove a team or an organization
A team: open Organizations in the sidebar, click Manage next to the team, then Team Settings in the sidebar. Click Remove Team and confirm.
An organization: on the Organizations page, click Settings next to the organization, or Organization Settings in the sidebar. Click Remove Organization and confirm. Every team in it is removed as described below.
What removal does to each team
Members: everyone leaves the team, the owner included, so nobody can open its workspace any more. Pending invitations are cancelled.
Task History: runs made in the team stay with the team, so they no longer appear in anyone's Task History, not even under Personal. Save any outputs you need before you remove a team.
Projects: each one goes back to the Personal workspace of the person who created it. Its API key keeps working and from then on charges that person's Personal wallet.
Agents: each one goes back to the Personal workspace of the member who deployed it, with its plan and extra credits. It switches to the Private chat mode, where each person has their own conversation, and restarts. Renewals paid from balance then come out of that member's Personal wallet.
Wallet: the balance isn't moved anywhere, and the team no longer appears in Transfer Credit. Move the balance out before you remove the team (see Can I move credit from my personal wallet to my team?). If you've already removed a team that still had a balance, contact support.
Can I restore a removed team?
No. A team removed on its own stays removed. Create a new one with Create Team on the Organizations page and invite people again. The person who created each project, or deployed each agent, then moves it in with Transfer, as an admin of the new team.
Restoring an organization
A removed organization is listed under Deleted Organizations on the Organizations page. The owner clicks Restore next to it, then Restore again to confirm.
Restore brings back:
the teams that were removed with the organization, each with its wallet and balance;
the members those teams had at that moment, with their roles. Their Task History is visible to them again.
It doesn't bring back:
teams and members that were removed one by one before the organization was;
invitations, including ones that were still pending, so invite those people again;
projects and agents. They stay in the Personal workspaces they went back to. The person who created a project, or deployed an agent, can move it back with Transfer if they're an admin of the team or the organization owner.
If Restore says "This organization can't be restored automatically because we can't tell which of its teams and members were removed with it. Please contact support.", nothing has changed. This can happen with some older organizations, or when all of an organization's teams had been removed before the organization itself. Contact support and include the organization's name.
Before you remove anything
Move each team wallet's balance with Transfer Credit.
Save any outputs you want to keep from the team's Task History.
Tell the people who created team projects that their API keys will start charging their Personal wallets.
