How many tasks can I run at the same time? (Concurrency limits)

Your concurrency limit depends on your wallet balance and rises automatically when you add funds.

How many tasks you can run at the same time depends on your wallet balance. The limit is recalculated every time you start a run, so it goes up automatically when you add funds.

  • Balance of $250 or less: you can run as many tasks at once as 10% of your balance, with a minimum of 1.

  • Balance above $250: there's no concurrency limit.

Examples

  • $10 balance: 1 task at a time

  • $50 balance: 5 tasks at a time

  • $100 balance: 10 tasks at a time

  • $250 balance: 25 tasks at a time

  • More than $250: no limit

When you reach the limit

New runs are rejected with error code 96 until one of your running tasks finishes. They aren't queued, so wait for a task to complete or add funds to raise your limit. A task stops counting toward the limit as soon as it completes, fails or is cancelled.

On the website, reaching the limit opens a window with plans. Plans only add credit to your wallet: the limit depends on your balance, not on the plan you choose.

To raise your limit, add credit to your wallet. For enterprise needs or a custom arrangement, email [email protected].
